See that boy up there? His name is Andrew Bugarella. He is 6 years old, and ever since he was born he’s always been a ‘wild’ child, always rambunctious, happy and extremely hyper. A few months ago I began to notice him acting strange, getting tired and out of breath extremely fast, losing his appetite and over a period of time he began to just stay in this room. A teacher from his preschool called me a few hours into the day after I had dropped him off telling me that he had fainted and he was just taken in the ambulance and rushed to the nearest hospital. Once I had arrived I was told that by the doctor that my son has Aortic Aneurysm which is a condition in which the Aorta, the major artery that carries blood from the heart to the body, stretches and ruptures. They said that it is extremely rare in children and that he’d need the surgery as soon as possible. I’m struggling with getting the money together for the surgery, seeing that I have recently be laid off and have been living off of his fathers child support money for a few weeks now.
